One of the quickest ways to develop your skills as a sketcher of ideas is through one-on-one instruction.
Through conversations over Skype and sketches shared via email, I’ll help you get from wherever you are to wherever you want to go.
Together we’ll develop an individualized learning plan so that you don’t waste any time learning skills and strategies that aren’t relevant to your goals.
The First Session
Here’s what you’ll get in the first session:
- A 30-minute one-on-one lesson via Skype with me
- A sketched summary of our conversation (which I will email you after our convo)
- An individualized learning plan to carry you forward (also included in the follow-up email)
In our first conversation I’ll get to know you and your goals and together we’ll develop a learning plan and get you started on that plan.
If you’d like follow-up instruction and accountability we can set up a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule for future sessions. (There is no obligation that you schedule any follow-up sessions.)
That first session costs $30, which you would pay beforehand using PayPal.
After the first session I’ll send you The Verbal To Visual Notebook for free. If you’ve already purchased that book, then I will deduct the amount you paid from your first session!
The Full Course
If you know that you’d like more than a learning plan, then consider the five-session course:
- Session 1: Develop an individualized learning plan
- Sessions 2-4: Cycle of instruction, practice, and feedback as you carry out your plan
- Session 5: Set up a long-term plan to ensure your success
Each session includes a 30-min one-on-one Skype chat.
The five-session course costs $99 (which saves you $51 compared to signing up for five individual sessions).
As with the individual session, you’ll get a copy of The Verbal To Visual Notebook when you sign up for the course.
I’ve been tutoring people one-on-one since high school, I have a masters degree in education, and I am a certified high school and middle school teacher.
I know teaching. I love teaching. And I’d love to teach you the skill of visual note taking.
I’ve also got practical experience using my visual note taking skills for both professional and personal purposes.
No matter what you want to use your future sketchnoting skills toward, I can help you get there quicker than if you go it alone.
Are you ready to take your sketchnoting skills to the next level?
Shoot me an email and let’s get started.
And as always, happy sketching.
