I’m back in Portland after a weekend conference in the woods, and I was drawn this evening to an industrial part of SE Portland for a couple of reasons.
The first is that I wanted to be in an environment where things are made and shipped, not just brainstormed and whiteboarded.
That energy is needed and appreciated, but for it to result in meaningful change requires action, not just conversation, which is why I was pulled to this setting for today’s video.
Inspiring conferences are great, but their power is multiplied when followed up with action.
Visual notes are great, but their power is multiplied when followed up with action.
Don’t let ideas be the end of it. Instead act on those ideas in the way that is most meaningful to you and those around you.
The second reason that I was drawn to this setting is that I wanted to catch the quickly-moving shadows at sunset while testing out a new microphone.
Success on all accounts.
